Two CRiHHI partners honoured

Two invaluable partners here in CRiHHI have recently been recognized for their important community work!

Honorary UBC Nursing Professor Madeleine Dion Stout has been awarded her third Honorary Doctorate degree, this time from Carleton University. More info here. Madeleine is an important contributor here in CRiHHI, working with faculty and students to advance critical research with an Aboriginal lens.

UBC Community Nursing Partner Roberta Price has received the Community Special Contribution Award from the United Global Chinese Women’s Association of Canada for sharing Aboriginal culture and promoting intercultural understanding. More info here. Roberta has worked with CRiHHI for many years and serves as our in-house Indigenous Elder, advising and supporting on numerous research projects and teaching initiatives.
